The company set sail with a independent feature film The Path NOT Taken in 2011 and from then on has taken the brand from a media production company to expanding to film workshops all the way to motivational speaking in the public and private sectors. The name Preston Heights derives from the community where filmmaker and innovator Jason Pittman grew up.  As a film school dropout Pittman climbed his way out of defeat and has managed to build a successful  career, brand and company with his resourcefulness, transitioning and positioning his company and himself to be a leader in the field of filmmaking and inspiration.
